此曲Crazy Horse ( ) 的旋律吉他手兼主唱Danny Whitten所，Crazy Horse最知名是做加拿大歌手Neil Young的，也有自展的力，在1971行了首同名的，此曲即收其中，曲市反平平，而普遍予好。

1975，英歌手Rod Stewart翻唱此曲，收在《Atlantic Crossing》中，未行曲。1976年底，Rod Stewart在敦的演唱演唱此曲，唱至副歌，全之大合唱至束，此反之烈，不Stewart自己大吃一，也了唱片公司的高，而定此曲另行曲。但Stewart的另新《Night on The Town》已行，只得中出一首《The First Cut Is The Deepest》放在B面，是A面行。

Stewart的翻唱版於1977年6月初登上英排行榜的冠，但被指是「操」的果。由於6月7日是英女王伊莎白二世登基25年的念典，而各媒自的排行榜冠均是Sex Pistol ( 性手 ) 的《God Save The Queen》( 歌曲容是嘲英的君主世制度 )，《I Don't Want to Talk About It》之所以登上榜首，被是了及英王室的面的政治力介入。

Danny Whitten在此曲的同，即以解除性炎的疼痛而吸毒成。1972，此曲行的次年底，Whitten即以服用物和酒精量而死亡，享年29。倘他知道此曲後爆，或有不一的人生吧！

是一首人的歌曲，述了一男人心欲，不自己的痛苦，要求他的人只是他的心的故事。翻唱此曲的歌手包含有英Everything But The Girl二人( UK #3 )、Rita Coolidge、台歌手王、惠妹等。
