1954，美歌手Eddie Cochran和另位的Hank Cochran成了二重唱「Cochran Brothers」，因而定才上了一年的高中，走上音人的道路，但也才一年此就解散了，之後成了唱人。

19561957，Eddie Cochran分演出了部影《The Girl Can't Help It》( 台：春得意 )、《Untamed Youth》( 野性青春？)，唱了片中的歌曲《Twenty Flight Rock》( 此曲「披合唱」的Paul McCartney在15被介16的John Lennon的唱曲之一 ) 及《Sittin' in the Balcony》，而真正Cochran大的成名曲是1958的《Summertime Blues》( US #8 )，另同年行的此首《C'mon Everybody》( US #35 )也是Cochran的招牌歌之一，此曲均Cochran他的人Jerry Capehart所合。

Eddie Cochran不唱歌、歌，除了吉他士、琴打鼓 ( 曾任音室的手 )，人又得，也演出影。他的形象是穿著得、迷人的年人，但流露出叛逆的度，在1950年代中期至1960年代初，捕捉到了青少年的挫折感和望，成了50年代的板人物。但「天妒英才」，1960，在英的巡演唱之後，不幸因生，享年21。

以下另影音中的美歌手Brian Setzer ( 未戴帽者 )，1980-1984曾了以演唱5、60年代古歌曲的Stray Cats而享有知名度。1987，影《La Bamba》( 已故歌手Ritchie Valens自式影 ) 的演出，在片中演Eddie Cochran演唱Cochran的《Summertime Blues》，想之後自是Cochran最佳的分身代言人，可惜影音中此老兄的吉他音效不佳。倒是位日本歌手布袋寅泰、Char ( 竹中久人 ) 表精彩，尤其吉他的奏技高超，令人激。
