Kevin Costner ( 文科斯 ) 於1955出生在美加州，1981即始影的演出，而直至1990才以自自演的《Dances with Wolves》( 台：狼共舞 ) 得斯卡「最佳影片」和「最佳演」而一片成名。之後拍片或兼任片及演，但褒不一，一度被「票房毒」。1992，Kevin黑人女歌手Whitney Houston合演影《The Bodyguard》( 台：保 )，力服Whitney翻唱Dolly Parton的《I Will Always Love You》( 但好友 Linda Ronstadt的版本 )。而包含此曲的影原，使得Whitney得三「葛美」大及其它各音，Whitney的演事也因而再高峰。
其，自年起，Kevin的心即埋藏了一喜音的火。2007，在第二任妻子的鼓下，於在年半百的52之，成了Kevin Costner & Modern West，演唱村歌曲，曾至土耳其及演唱。2008，行首《Untold Truths》，此首《The Angels Came Down》即收其中，成算可以，至少有打了排行榜 ( No.61 )，但中另行的3首曲 ( 未含此曲 )，是「全覆」。2012，此曲在Christian Digital Songs ( 基督位歌曲 ) 排行榜得第8名，也是首支榜的曲，也或是因此曲於2011重新灌 ( remaster ) 之故。
2012年4月，Kevin和他的Modern West在一念5名肯塔基子弟在阿富汗亡的音上演唱此曲，道：失去一子、一丈夫、一女……，我知道，一首歌法治它。但是，天使降，也是我喜的想法，我的受苦至深，天使照他，走他的恐和痛苦，倘若可以接受的想法，我大家在晚上都可以睡得更安好些。
