身2008年NBA秀探花的梅，由於反禁定在2016年被以禁2年的分，管今年球期，但最有NBA球下他。於段不光彩的去，梅侃侃而：「是我人生的小，是我犯的，也是的，是可以的，中得更好。」
梅也肯定表示，希望透在SBL的助自己再次NBA，不段他是注在今年季，以及率欣冠的目，「有很多好洋及本土球，欣中也有很多好的年球，希望我能助他成，助盟得更好」。
管到台才短短3天，但梅自己的高人也相，他：「台球迷非常情，我感到很暖。台人都很喜球，我也喜球，所以我有共同可以分享。」
