此首《Even the Bad Times Are Good》原是被英女歌手Sandie Shaw加1967的洲歌唱大用的，但未青 ( Sandie Shaw以另一首《Puppet on a String》，得冠。)，之後此曲很快地就被英The Tremeloes去唱，於1967年中作曲行，在英排行榜打入前10名( # 4 )，在美告示牌是第44名。

The Tremeloes成立於1958 ( 之前名Brian Poole and The Tremeloes，但Brian於1966故而改在的名。)，1962，曾The Beatles ( 披合唱 ) 同加Decca唱片公司的唱，果是The Beatles被摒而了The Tremeloes。由Beatles日後的成就看，唱片公司真可是「目糊到仔肉」。1967，The Tremeloes翻唱美合唱The Four Seasons於1964行的B面歌曲《Silence is Golden》，也用原唱的曲和唱法，未料竟然爆，除得了告示牌排行榜的第11名，同得售超百的「金唱片」，自此也成了的招牌歌。

1970，也是手的英音人Jeff Christie了一首《Yellow River》交The Tremeloes唱，Tremeloes也已了，但之後想想曲於，不太合的曲，意思等於是退了。Jeff Christie奈下只好磁中原主唱的音消除，再成由自己主唱，又另找了二人成了Christie，以此名行了首《Yellow River》，1970，曲一得了英排行榜的冠。明明是已好了的歌要往外推，此， The Tremeloes是扼腕不已。

此曲大意是，只要心中有企盼 ( 尤其是情 )，即使周遭的境再劣，也是可以不在意、不困，而努力奔向人，之入抱。
