此曲由 Hal Ｄavid( )及Alber Hammond ( 曲 / 台歌友孰悉的是他的《It Never Rains In Southern California 》) 所合，由Hammond於1975行。但最知名的版本是由西班牙歌手Julio Iglesias美村歌手Willie Nelson於1984的合唱版本。此版本不得美告示牌村榜的第1名，也拿下流行榜的第5名，人合唱入村榜的唯二歌曲之一 ( 另首《Spanish Eyes》)。
Julio Iglesias然是西班牙的知名歌手，但其所知不多。Willie Nelson是「非法村(outlaw country)」流派的代表性人物之一，也是位曲作家。早期大牌女歌手Patsy Cline 的招牌歌之一《Crazy》，即出自其手。Nelson自己有超20首的冠曲，其中一首《Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain》，作影「Red Headed Stranger」的主曲，由其演出男主角。而最的是他的那把加了mic的木吉他， 竟然被他出一破洞。
