美村歌手兼曲作家Garth Brooks於1985始其歌唱生涯，1989行其首同名《Garth Brooks》，分拿下流行村榜的第12及第2名，此首《If Tomorrow Never Comes》即中另行的曲，由Garth Brooks自己人所合，此曲上了告示牌村曲榜的第1名，也是Brooks人的首支村冠曲。
包含前述，Garth Brooks共有9「石唱片」( 依美唱片工RIAA的，售超50「金唱片」、100以上「白金唱片」，「石唱片」是售超1千。) 此成超越了披合唱的6「石」。截至2020，依RIAA的，Garth Brooks是世界售最佳的音人之一，其量在美本土即有1.56，超越了王Elvis Presley，但仍排在「披四」之後。
歌手Ronan Keating ( 原Boyzoon合唱的成 ) 之前以一首《When You Say Nothing at All》走，2002翻唱此曲，其版本得英、澳洲、捷克、丹及挪威等家排行榜的冠，前5名的也多10家，毫疑是「大收」了。
此首情歌是，但看歌容非如此感人，主要是述「天有不，要趁早表」。但想想，都已睡在同一床上了，要疑方是否有感受到自己真的，看是位老兄半夜睡不著，想太多了。呵呵呵！
