此曲美女歌手/人Sheryl Crow於2002行的《C'mon,C'mon》中的曲，成不凡，除了在告示牌Adult Top 40拿下冠，另在Adult Contemporary及Hot 100榜分第5、第17。在洲，包含英、瑞士，甚至在澳洲、西，也都在排行榜前20名。2005得唱片售超50的「金唱片」。
合此曲的Jeff Trott透露，此曲最初的感是在他由波特的航班上，由於在波特淋了太多的雨，得於可去好好的享受光 ( soak up the sun )，也同想起了「海少年 ( The Beach Boys)」 式的合音，於此曲的音律和弦，也有了大致的。不，在和Sheryl Crow此曲，到了之前生的Columbine高中校事件 ( 1999，科拜高中的名生械及爆裂物至校，了12名生及1名教後即自身亡。)，除了歌中主角的怪朋友有些，重是在歌「Got my 45 on， So I can rock on」的一句，Trott大家首先想到45手而感到，不，大部份的人都此45作是防乳液的系 ( 呵呵，市售好像只有40或50的)，也有人看了在海拍的官方影，45指的是Sherry所大桶身木吉他的尺寸。
歌曲的主角知道自的己工作不怎，薪然也低，但物欲和生活都相的知足。遇到感自己有些蹩不酷，也懂得向上 ( 前 ) 看。再怎，能沉浸在光下就已了，然有阿Q，是一首相正面志的歌曲。
