此曲美村音人Rodney Crowell由1988的《Diamonds & Dirt》中所出的第4首曲，不成他人第3首的冠曲，也在1990他得了一座「年度最佳村歌曲」的葛美。
Rodney Crowell出道是以歌主。1975，村女歌手Emmylou Harris唱了Crowell所的一首《Bluebird Wine》，此促成人了面，Crowell即被安排了Harris在德州的秀，想是HarrisCrowell的表意，秀後正式邀Crowell加入她的The Hot Band任旋律吉他手，Crowell也欣然接受，此後始跟Harris年，後Crowell唱片公司始其唱事後才。但人的份未因此中，近40年後的2013，Harris和Crowell合作了一《Old Yellow Moon》，再人得了一座葛美。

1979，Rodney Crowell再婚，娶了超村巨星Johnny Cash的女，也是村歌手的Rosanne Cash，人在歌唱事上相互扶持，期，CrowellRosanne大部份的作，而由Rosanne歌曲的成功 ( 1981-1989，Rosanne共有10首村冠曲 )，也了Crowell的歌感。1988，神奇的事情生了，在前述Crowell的《Diamonds & Dirt》中，竟然行的5首曲均得排行榜冠，而的是夫妻合唱的《It's Such a Small World》。1992，Crowell和Cash婚後各自嫁娶，但方仍保持良好的朋友，偶在一起同台表演。
