英披合唱的Paul McCartney和John Lennon在《With A Little Help From My Friends》首歌，Paul他自己所作的《The Fool on the Hill》唱John，John建他快下以免忘了，Paul回他不忘。Paul果然忘，此首《The Fool on the Hill》之後收在The Beatles 1967的《Magical Mystery Tour》中。
依Alistair Taylor ( 曾The Beatles人Brian Epstein的助理，後也助Beatles成理房等事宜，及多本有Beatles的，也是Paul McCartney的好友。) 在其所著〈Yesterday〉中所述，他和Paul McCartney曾共同了一件怪事，也是促成Paul McCartney首《The Fool on the Hill》的起。

Paul和Alistair法想像位男子到底生了何事？他似乎就空消失了。即使是用跑的，到最近有木的遮蔽，非秒可到；且山太，也非短可至。而件事情更添神秘色彩的是，男子首度出，Paul和Alistair才正在所的敦美景及造物者的神奇。回到家，他花了一上午，所生的事情合理化。最後人都同意彷像是吸了毒之後的「幻 (Acid Trip)」，但人都誓未使用任何的物。
人眼中的「傻瓜」，有非「真」傻，而是如成所的「大智若愚」吧！Paul McCartney之後此曲中的人物，有像是Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ( 超坐的赫西大 )，由於Maharishi常傻笑，多批者他「傻瓜」，而他也不以意。1968，巴西Sérgio Mendes & Brasil '66翻唱此曲，使用的是bossa nova旋律，得美排行榜第6名，也是在世界各地最多的歌曲。
