此曲於1954由盛地的R&B合唱The Eagles ( 非1971於洛杉成立的Eagles )首行。次年，王Elvis Presley也唱此曲，不，王前後共了5版本，而只有1955年7月的第2版本，有在他的生前行。另有趣的是，收在1999行的《Sunrise》中的版本，王拿手的吉他而自琴，被作人奏的不水，部份完全消音。

在王的版本之後，亦有多位翻唱者，像是：Roy Orbison with The Teen Kings、Ricky Nelson及Johnny Rivers等等。而Paul McCartney依此曲，之改成另首《In Spite of All the Danger》，也是The Beatles合唱的前身---The Quarrymen所正式的第一首歌曲。
