此首《Rock 'n' Roll Is King》是英Electric Light Orchestra ( E L O ) 1983年《Secret Messages》中的歌曲。先，原本是要出的，但被行商CBS唱片公司成本太高不好而否，Jeff Lynne奈只能歌曲。由於推出後，要解散，然非情，但士手Kelly Groucutt的在期一再缺席，致Jeff Lynne要求他退 ( 之後Groucutt因此部份利金告上法庭，最後是以庭外和解收。)。然此在英排行榜拿下了第4名，但一些的雨雨，也因而未替作促巡演，名次很快的便跌出了榜外。另一重要的原因，是缺乏的曲作支，只除了首《Rock 'n' Roll Is King》成尚佳，在英、美排行榜分拿下第13及19名。

多都是，或不，搞久了就分手，ELO1970成立，於在1986解散 ( 2000─2001一度合，再於2012又重聚迄今。)。Jeff Lynne才洋溢，不歌，任唱片的作人。1988George Harrison、Bob Dylan、Roy Orbison以及Tom Petty合超Traveling Wilburys，可惜因Orbison心病猝死，只持了不到3年。
