此曲由歌者Don Robertson於1956首行。同年，美女子四重唱The Chordettes的版本得流行榜的第5名而成了曲。1968，美村歌手Sonny James亦以此曲得村榜的冠，也是他神奇的16首冠曲中的一首 ( 1967─1971 )。
其他的翻唱者：1973，英歌手Dave Edmunds引用了名唱片作人Phil Spector所「wall of sound」 ← ( 去，大概就是有比重的回音效果。)，拿下了英排行榜的第5名。1975，美歌手Dion DiMucci此曲收作的名 ( 妙了，Dion的版本真的是Phil Spector作。)。1978，美村女歌手Sandy Posey的版本在村榜到了第21名。加拿大女歌手Anne Murray也此曲收在她1993的《Croonin'》中 。
