2003年，53的前Dire Straits ( 峻海 ) 的主唱兼吉他手Mark Knopfler，著他的Honda，在敦附近和一位女士的Fiat ( 雅特 ) 撞上了，Mark Knopfler裂了肩胛骨和六根肋骨 ( 女士事 )。除了原的「Ragpicker's Dream」巡演唱即喊停，了健，有7月的不能碰吉他。好加在的是，次年─2004，除了行他第4的人《Shangri-La》，也於能重新站回舞台，此作海外巡演唱。



Shangri-La ( 香格里拉 ) 是西方世界想中的托邦，名最早是出在1933由英人James Hilton所的小《Lost Horizon》中，後次被翻拍成同名影 ( 台：失去的地平 )。首收在上述中的《 Our Shangri-La》，Mark Knopfler仍秉持著他一有些及低沉、含混不清的唱腔 ( 其，相的表是在他的吉他奏 )，版有美知名村女歌手Emmylou Harris的合音加持，是一首值得欣的佳作。

於歌中的Shangri-La，老外歌友有些不同的看法，甚至有人是在唱曾的「一夜情」。而不此Shangri-La是心中所想，或指的是世界中有一可比的地方，疑是首情歌。但知道此是在美南加州名「Shangri-La」的音室，此情歌的美好氛，感被打了折扣，但音是很棒。^^
