成立於1962年的英The Zombies ( 合唱 )，1964推出了他的第一曲《She's Not There》，成不，打了英排行榜第12名。之後也循例至美做巡表演，第一次上地目，演唱了《She's Not There》及另一首《Tell Her No》，引起青少女的尖叫。奇怪？年我首歌，感好像也不... 怎。《Tell Her No》1965在美是得了第6名。

1967，The Zombies入CBS唱片公司旗下，行了他第一的《Odessey and Oracle》。人要走背的候，真的是什狗屎都有，名中的Odyssey，竟然被封套拼了。在人的念中，搞出，那真的是霉大了。但The Zombies於算，也只能就的推出。果不其然，售奇，在英等於是全覆，排行榜的框都摸到。而不幸中的大幸是，The Zombies遇到了位伯 --- 美的音大AL Kooper，由他向唱片公司力鼓吹，中的首《Time of the Season》，才得另以曲在美行。1969，首歌突破了之前首已行曲在市上的低迷，上了告示牌排行榜的第三名，但已是The Zombies解散一年以後的事了。

首歌的特色包含了主唱特的嗓音，令人忘的士重小段音 ( 有像Ben E. King的《Stand by Me》)，以及手快速迷幻即式的奏。歌部份，最著的是其中回式的唱法，像是What's your name? (What's your name?) / Who's your daddy? (Who's your daddy?) / Is he rich? (Is he rich like me?)。

首歌曾多次出及被引用在各影片、及台目中。2012，英的音「NME」，此首歌列60年代的好歌 ( best song ) 的第35名。
