Fits Like a Glove Which May Feel Tight

I normally wear a medium width size 7.5 - which is the size I bought of these shoes. They do fit snug, like a glove - toes almost touch the front of shoe. It only took 1 time wearing to get adjusted to that feeling. Being snug, there is absolutely no foot movement which is great. 1 star taken off because they have no traction on wet roads, at least on the first few uses. First time wearing I landed on a wet area of the sidewalk that had been recently watered and nearly lost my footing. I've had other running and trail shoes that had same problem on first few wears (being slippery) so I'm hoping the same is true with these.
The right size, but terrible heel slip

I have persevered with these shoes long enough. The fit feels fine up until the point where I actually run in them, at which point the heel slips badly. I've laced them with the appropriate method to alleviate this, but the result of banishing the heel slip is that I have to lace them so tightly that they are excruciatingly painful across the mid foot, particularly on runs of 5+ miles. If I was to go half a size down my toes would will fit the toe box.
Bit gutted really as I really love the look of the shoe, but as it is I really just feel like I've wasted my money.

Massively disappointed with this version.
I have been a Nike Pegasus fan running marathons in these shoes but the 35’s tread has lasted a quarter of the time of my 34’s.
Don’t get me wrong they are very comfortable but don’t last the distance in my view.
