haven`t come here for a while, Sabina seems to grow so much already! She`s walking pretty good I can tell, an early starter! I love that dress she had on, so pretty! haha, we worry about Abi`s `redneck` influence while living in Alabama just like your hillbilly! :-)

Thanks!The dress brand is oldnavy. Got it at Goodwill for $3.Her walking starts around the 1yr birthday, which is quite common for babies...not too late or too soon la, haha!
I used to visiting your photo site. You guys seem to live in a bigger city or town in Alabama?
As for redneck/hillbilly issue, I think Sabina will have at least 1/2 of city genes since her mom grows up in the city, haha,one would hope!

I have a question for you, what kind of walking shoes does Sabina wear in the video? It looks like a Stride Rite Stage 2 to me. I have a 10 months old and is looking for some walking shoes for her. Thanks!

You`re referring to the little pink one right? I promise you`re not the first one who asks me about this shoe and I looked into it last time but just couldn`t find the brand, which is kinda funny! I got it in Goodwill, so sorry can`t be of any help.
You know what? I never pay attention to shoe size until Sabina can walk; I start digging into shoe piles of different sizes I bought for her (I started buying baby and toddler stuff in thrift store ever since I was pregnant,without knowing when I can use them!) and realize that baby shoe sizes are very different from clothing sizes and each shoe manufacturer can have quite different sizing range as well.
Here`s the shoe sizing chart of Osh Kosh for your reference:

Newborn
Up to 3mths- size 0
Up to 5mths- size 1
Up to 7mths-size 2
Up to 9mths-size 3

Regular
10-12mths-size 3-3.5
1 year-size 4-5
2 years-size 5-6.5
3 years-size 7-8
4 years- size 8.5-10
5 years- size 10.5-12

I like Stride Rite and I`ve got one pink Mary Jane type of sneaker, size 5 and1/2. Maybe Sabina can wear it at 2! Now she`s wearing 4.

I know many American moms here, such as my library baby group, like to buy moccasin shoes for babies since they are soft and fit for pre-schoolers. There`s a quite popular brand called &quotRobeez&quot, although it`s expensive and I usually buy on ebay!
