
日前由Wine and Life站,得知,就了一封E-mail方,原本想方只放五名,而我一直到11/10才知道消息,那名可能已太晚了,想到天晚上方便已名,看我有搭上班,不不……
先介一下酒:Chteau Cos d’Estournel是Bordeaux左岸的酒,位於Saint-Estèphe,是Médoc的二列酒之一,一直以都有很高的酒水,由林裕森的,得知酒的格不像一般Saint-Estèphe硬粗的味,反而得特厚。
是在西店的三宴,可惜我有在下的Toscana餐吃,省省……呵呵~
到之後,只有的核料,就可以入了,看要混去or拗去不是很困的事情……受邀的人不少,估有80人左右,我想有很多是酒商的主要客人吧……像我路名的人真是少之又少……人不少,主的酒商也很阿莎力,酒量在很多,酒也有5,看可以好好喝一喝了,哇哈哈哈~
所有人就位後,Cos d’Estournel主的子Jean-Guillaume Prats也到了,他介著Chteau Cos d’Estournel的史、土地、酒格等,介完之後就始品。一次一共有五款酒,品心得分述如下:
1. Les Pagodes de Cos 2001
深的石色,偏紫。黑醋栗、木材、可可和酵母味,怡人。入口口感厚、集中,有酸度,甜熟口感把藏得很好,且富,柔但多,中度。
2. Les Pagodes de Cos 1996
深的石色,和1酒相比。黑醋栗、木材味,略有烤味。入口後口感薄,有酸度,果味不甚集中,不足,粗。(可能是存放有的酒?)
3. Chteau Cos d’Estournel 2001
使用55% Cabernet Sauvignon和45% Merlot,80%新桶,官方期2007至2020年。深的石色,偏紫且不透光,very young。黑醋栗、木材、可可、胡椒味。入口後口感很好,柔但充足,黑醋栗味明,果味均衡,有酸度和度,。
4. Chteau Cos d’Estournel 1999
使用65% Cabernet Sauvignon和35% Merlot,官方期2008至2025年。深的石色,偏紫,very young,色3略。黑醋栗、木材、可可、酵母、胡椒味。入口後,果味均衡充足,黑醋栗、胡椒味明,中度。
5. Chteau Cos d’Estournel 1996
使用65% Cabernet Sauvignon和35% Merlot,官方期2005至2025年。石色,略偏紫,strong。黑醋栗、地、甘草、草、木材、可可味,胡椒味很,有度。入口後柔但充足,有酸度,。
喝了不少酒,也了三酒瓶者名、合影,真是而啊……

Delivers plenty of spicy currant and berry character. Full-bodied, with well-integrated, silky tannins and a spicy, fruity aftertaste. Clever winemaking. Best second label of the vintage. From Chateau Cos d’Estournel. Try after 2002. (JS)
2. Chteau Cos d’Estournel 2001
WA:93
A beautiful effort, the 2001 Cos d’Estournel (65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot) exhibits a poised, noble bouquet of black currants, cedar, spice box, and licorice. A hint of truffles emerges as it sits in the glass. Medium-bodied with sweet fruit (mostly black) and nicely integrated wood, it builds incrementally in the mouth, ending with a 50-second finish. Drink this stylish, restrained yet substantial claret over the next 15+ years.
WS:94
Wonderful spice and currant aromas to this young wine. Full-bodied, with super well integrated, refined tannins. Long caressing finish. This is very, very silky. Just like from barrel. Cos is on top of it now. Best after 2008. 17,705 cases made. (JS)
3. Chteau Cos d’Estournel 1999

The dark ruby-colored 1999 Cos is a supremely elegant effort. The wine offers notes of dried Provencal herbs, smoke, licorice, black cherries, and cassis. This medium to full-bodied St.-Estephe is cerebral, intellectual, and refined, but lacking soul and hedonism. Anticipated maturity: 2004-2018.
WS:87
Tobacco and coffee aromas, with hints of fruit. Full- to medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a fruity finish. A bit short for Cos, but delicate and refined. Best after 2004. 23,330 cases made. (JS)
4. Chteau Cos d’Estournel 1996
WA:93+
Made from 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot, this is a huge, backward wine reminiscent of the 1986. the 1996 possesses an opaque purple color as well as pure aromatics consisting of cassis, grilled herbs, coffee, and toasty new oak. Massive in the mouth and one of the most structured and concentrated young Cos d’Estournel I have ever tasted, this thick, structured, tannic wine has closed down significantly since bottling. It requires 5-6 years of cellaring and should last 30-35 years. It is fabulous, but patience is required. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2030.
WS:95
A classy and impressive young Bordeaux from an appellation that stepped up in ’96. Dark-colored, with plenty of currant and spice aromas, the wine is full-bodied, with very velvety tannins and allspice, berry and currant flavors. Long, long finish. One of the wines of the vintage, it’s a beauty. Best after 2005. 26,000 cases made. (JS)
