Job Description Summary

Responsibilities
Design, automate and integrate data simulation applications or workflows (mostly on Hadoop cluster) into our unified data provisioning platform for risk model training or research purpose.
Develop and add new features to our internal auditing product (analytical self-service verification tool for verifying models and variables) on top of SPARK, as well as developing data check components to guarantee the data quality after data is generated.
Maintain simulation service to support our modelers, data scientists and analysts on trouble shooting, engineering best practice and disaster recovery.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or equivalent in engineering related background, with at least 4 years ’ experience (Master for at least 2 year) in data processing area.
Experience in big data process with Apache Spark, Hadoop MapReduce, and Pig etc.
Master at least one of the programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, Perl etc.)
Experience in working under Unix/Linux, solid Shell scripting expertise.
Experience with SQL for data manipulation, especially large RDBMS (prefer Teradata)
Knowledge of statistics, data mining or predictive modeling is plus
Experience in job scheduler or workflow manager (e.g. UC4, Airflow) is plus
Good English communication in oral and writing
Strong service mindset, willing to work as DevOps
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong business sense and analytical ability
Quick-learner
Good team player
