绿色的小方块越多，活跃的天数越多；
绿色越深，当天的活跃度越大。

不过发起一个issue、提交一个commit，好多活动都算在了活跃度里面。
所以还是要具体点开看看，这些活跃都有什么活动。
当然最好的办法还是让技术看看具体这个人都发起了什么项目，直接看代码。也可以看看他参与了什么项目，给这些项目做了哪些PR。

做一件事，却提交了好多个commit，也会造成满屏深绿色。。这种情况下的个人账号，要么是不太会用github，要么就是在刷活跃度。。

很多人喜欢拿Star来当指标，但是其实，Star的数量主要取决于需求，其次才是性能等指标，最后才是质量。

所以呢，GitHub上，放个Google能用的IP之类的，或者hosts之类的破千Star也是常事。

招人不能看Star或者Followers，你要切实地打开他的GitHub，看一看他的代码。

看需求：
- 自己的 Star（有不错的开源项目）
- 其他项目的 Star（比较关注其他开源项目）
- Follows/Following（社交、影响力？）
- contributed （对其他开源项目的贡献）
- Contributions（commit 活跃度）
- 还有上面说的 repositories，看代码（编程语言、代码质量）

个人感觉，Contributions数 > start数 > Follows数。

自从找到工作了以后，就没怎么更新GitHub了......

我想知道github如果都是star，follow都是0的话要不要写在简历里？

看活跃度并没有个卵用。曾经看过一个人，开了一个Repo当日记，GitHub一片绿，但是真正牛的repo并没有几个。

还是看SO的reputation吧，这个更靠谱一点。

主要应该侧重于，能看到代码质量和写代码的风格，以及参与了什么项目。

@hylent 我觉得 commits 数量多很正常吧？比如一个一天能写完的 feature，可能需要 3 到 10 次 commit， 甚至更多，善于利用 commit 梳理工作流也是在发挥 git 的优势。
