Sylvester criterion(西尔维斯特判别法):线性代数中的一个判别准则,用来判断实对称矩阵(或对应的二次型)是否正定/ 负定。常见表述:一个实对称矩阵正定,当且仅当它的所有顺序主子式(leading principal minors)都为正。(负定则符号交替。)
