seaweed bed：海藻床/海藻带；指浅海或潮间带中海藻密集生长、覆盖海底的区域，常为鱼类、贝类等提供栖息与繁殖环境。（更广义上也可指“海草床/海草甸”一类的水下植被带，但严格区分时 seaweed 多指海藻。）

seaweed 由 sea（海）+ weed（杂草、野草）构成，原意是“海里的‘草’”。bed 在地理与生态语境中常指“（某种生物）成片生长的区域/带状群落”（如 riverbed 河床、oyster bed 蚝床）。合在一起，seaweed bed 就是“海藻成片生长的区域”。
