Electromigration(电迁移):在高电流密度条件下,导体(常见为金属互连线,如铜/铝)中的金属原子在电子“冲击”与动量传递作用下发生定向迁移的现象,可能导致材料中形成空洞(void)堆积(hillock),从而引发开路、短路等失效。该词在微电子与材料可靠性领域最常见。(也可泛指电场/电流驱动的物质迁移现象,但以芯片互连语境最常用。)
