bestiary（名词）：动物志 / 兽谱 / 奇兽录；指中世纪常见的一类书，汇集真实或传说中的动物（有时也包括怪物）的描述，并常附带道德寓意、宗教象征或教化解读。也可泛指任何“动物图鉴式”的汇编。
